At first Chris couldn't figure out why her flat was so quiet, but then she remembered that she wasn't in her flat. Bit of a duffer for forgetting the special. There was a whole island waiting for her with squirrels, alots, teal deer and giant squid. Not to mention any pets that needed help.

But first things first. Sure, Maryland was a touch nippier than Bondi was this time of year, but she was sure she'd be able to find a decent wave or two before getting started on her vet duties.
