It hadn't been a complete waste of her time, but Cara had been glad to leave the picnic behind her, in favour of actually going to the apartment she'd be staying in the next few months.

Admittedly there were still less stairs than in the average Mord'Sith temple, and one of those elevator contraptions, but this is what happened when you didn't specify details when renting a place, Cara.

After absolutely no fumbling with the keys, she pushed the door open. "It's bigger than I expected."

"True." Though she'd include weapons in that list. "My guess because they have insane priorities." Even more insane than Richard rescuing kittens instead of any of the other things he could be doing.

The tub looked dry enough that Cara could hoist herself into it without dampening her leathers. "I think two can fit in here," she said. Because that was important. For reasons. "If they don't mind getting cosy."

"I would hope two people trying to fit in a tub like that together would already be cozy," Surreal teased, leaning on the door frame. "Otherwise that could be awkward."
